About Roni Plachta
Roni Plachta is a seasoned mechanical engineer and the founder of AnalysisPros, a consulting firm dedicated to providing advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) services since 1994. With over three decades of hands-on experience, Roni specializes in structural, thermal, fluid, and dynamic simulations for real-world engineering challenges. His expertise spans a wide range of industries, including aerospace, defense, clean tech, medical devices, and consumer products.
Roni holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (Cum Laude) and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida. Over the years, he has held senior analytical roles at top-tier companies such as Maxar Robotics, Raytheon, Aerojet Rocketdyne, Bigelow Aerospace, Meggitt, and CarbonCapture Inc.
Known for his ability to troubleshoot complex designs, optimize large assemblies, and detect failure modes early in the development cycle, Roni delivers simulation-driven solutions that accelerate product development, reduce prototyping costs, and improve reliability. He is also experienced in mentoring engineers, conducting FEA training, and supporting clients with compliance to ISO, DoD, and other regulatory standards.
His work has been published in industry journals, and he remains an active member of professional organizations including ASME, SME, and AIChE
